Solutions / Fixes to Sundry Computer Problems

I spend much time on my computer and I spend much time making things exactly the way I want. Often this means installing software, working around bugs, porting code, etc..

And lots of times I turn to google to find info, and sometimes it's easy to find, sometimes it's not.

So, I decided to start collecting solutions to problems I have seen, under the presumption that someone else will have the same exact problem, and these files will make it more likely that they'll find the solution.
